太平洋上一個小小的國家大員尼西亞正要召開一場公聽會，面對煙囪林立的高譚市，政府、企業和市民該如何尋求共榮共存的未來，而高譚市裡的輕油裂解廠又該何去何從呢？
《PVC煙囪之城》以桌上遊戲的方式輕鬆帶入嚴肅議題。面對臺灣歷史上的重大事件，玩家可以藉由扮演不同角色與遊戲手法體驗換位思考，並且以更宏觀的角度理解過去現在未來正在發生的事。

In a town in a small country in the Pacific, grappling with pollution emitted from its many chimneys, a public hearing is held. How should government, businesses, and citizens work together for a better future? To where should the town’s naphtha cracking plants be moved?
PVC Chimney Town is a board game that addresses serious issues. Facing major events in Taiwan’s history, players take on roles to think about issues from different perspectives and understand what happened in the past, what is happening now, and what may happen in the future from a macroscopic view.

Founded by Taiwanese artists from a theatre design background, Uncertain Studio's early works combine object theatre with ambient soundscapes to create mini-scale technical theatre with low-tech aesthetics. In more recent years, they have been questioning the nature of performing arts, moving towards the performative aspects of board games, workshops, and experiences to find new ways to discuss real world issues in a creative setting.
