Ming Baï Lab
Where to stop along the way?) 2024年於台南藝術節策展製作《烏腳之謎三部曲:越過一段麻煩的惡水,我回到家》(The Mystery of Blackfoot Disease III – A Footage of Troubled Waters, On My Way Home)。

Wonderland Impressions - Animal Postcards Making Workshop
This workshop is based on the Wonderland XIII performance and the animal star photo album published by the Yuanshan Zoo (the old site of the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park) during the Japanese colonial period (1895-1945). Together, we excavate and look back at common memories of the zoo and children’s amusement park from the perspective of family trips. At the same time, we offer gentle comfort to those animals that were unfortunately injured and have left us. During this activity, we lead participants in making their own animal postcards through the use of old photographs, as well as storytelling and printmaking techniques.
Performer: Ming Baï Lab
Ming Baï Lab is a cross-disciplinary duo comprised of choreographer LEE Ming-Chieh and video artist Baï LEE. Through documentary field research, they explore the overlap between life’s regrets and historical sites, co-creating “body ⇄ image” texts, which are presented in multiple forms, with the intention of repairing wounds associated with memories. In recent years, their works have often been seen as co-creations extending from micro-curation and video choreography concepts. Their research focuses on the media, medical care and human rights, and multi-species performance politics. They experiment with physical actions, dance, lecture performances, and new media and cross-disciplinary performances and exhibitions.
