經過三年的研究與發展，《蟲火》藝術計畫：土地、遷移與神明 The Bug ls on Fire 於去年六月在法蘭克福 Mousonturm 首演。作品如今以 Dalaw（家訪版）形式延續旅程——這是一個可攜帶、手提式的版本，讓表演能夠進入不同的空間、社群與相遇之中，在劇場之外持續轉化。
Dalaw在菲律賓語中意指「拜訪」，也呼應一種民間信念：當一隻昆蟲進入家中，可能是祖先或靈魂前來探訪。如同一隻意外降臨門前的螢火蟲，此版本只攜帶自身所需，在劇場之外尋找新的棲息地。
螢火蟲在黑暗中閃爍——微小的光點穿透夜色，忽明忽滅，難以預測。牠們的光是一種安靜的反抗，是在經常遺忘它們的地景中脆弱卻堅定的生命證明。
如同螢火蟲，《蟲火》藝術計畫：土地、遷移與神明描繪一種存在與消失之間的細微編舞：身體——無論人類或非人——在邊緣持續存在，抵抗被抹除。
作品跟隨這些微光，穿梭於澳門後巷、香港隱密花園、菲律賓河岸，以及台灣變動中的地景，勾勒出螢火蟲曾經棲息、仍然存在，以及已然消失的地方。牠們的處境不僅是生態性的，也呼應著移工與無證社群的生命狀態——在城市運作中不可或缺，卻在都市發展中逐漸被抹去其故事。
本作品透過長期田野研究與集體探問發展而成，結合身體、聲音、影像、文件與光，構築出一個脆弱卻持續運作的生存生態。跨越東亞與東南亞的研究，於德國埃森 PACT Zollverein 駐村期間整合，並透過表演實驗與反思，形塑出作品的初始樣貌。
螢火蟲並非持續發光，而是閃爍——不穩定、有節奏，存在於不會為其停留的環境之中。在本作品中，「閃爍」成為一種方法：一種存在、記憶與持續的方式。
徘徊於可見與消失之間， 《蟲火》藝術計畫：土地、遷移與神明邀請觀眾見證生存——不是作為奇觀，而是一種安靜且持續的共存行動。
演出團隊｜Albert Garcia
Albert Garcia 出生並成長於澳門，擁有菲律賓移民背景，現定居台北。身為跨領域藝術家，他的創作橫跨表演、裝置與動態影像，以身體作為持續協商的場域，探索遷移、勞動與認同之間不斷移動的邊界。從移民的視角出發，Albert 深受後自然思想啟發，關注生命體——人類、螢火蟲、演算法——如何在所處的系統中尋找生存與抵抗的方式，以及身體如何在圍繞著它的結構中適應、延續。
他的長期研究計畫——包括《生存手冊：在狗、狼與水蟲熊之間》、《蟲火》藝術計畫：土地、遷移與神明 ，以及持續發展中的《跳舞機：Dance Dance Revolution》——以推測性的框架探問：這些相遇，如何重新框定我們對公民身份、歸屬與行動能力的理解？他於2017年取得澳門媒體研究學士學位，並於2022年在台北完成舞蹈表演藝術碩士學位。創作以動作與敘事為核心，他頻繁與跨地域的移民/移工社群、學者及藝術家展開協作，共同孕育出圍繞「具身認知」（embodied knowledge）與「推測性共存」（speculative co-existence）的對話空間。
他於2017年取得澳門媒體研究學士學位，並於2022年在台北完成舞蹈表演藝術碩士學位，並持續透過與不同地區的移工社群、研究者與藝術家的合作中學習。其作品曾於新加坡濱海藝術中心、法蘭克福 Mousonturm、芬蘭亞歷山大劇院、德國 PACT Zollverein、義大利 Fabbrica Europa 等多個國際平台呈現，並曾受邀參與台北表演藝術中心 ADAM 計畫、德國 PACT Zollverein 等駐地與發展計畫。

The Bug Is on Fire: Dalaw (House Visit Edition)
After three years of research and development, The Bug Is on Fire premiered at Mousonturm in Frankfurt last June. The work now continues its journey through Dalaw (House Visit Edition), a portable, hand-carried version that allows the performance to adapt to different spaces, communities, and encounters beyond the theatre.
Dalaw means “a visit” in Filipino, evoking the belief that an insect entering the home may be a visiting ancestor or spirit. Like a firefly arriving at one’s doorstep, this edition carries only what it needs, finding new habitats beyond the theatre.
The Bug Is on Fire employs fireflies as both methodology and perceptual framework to examine shifting landscapes, migratory bodies, and marginal forms of existence. Moving through Macau, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Taiwan, the work traces sites where fireflies once inhabited, continue to flicker, or have disappeared, drawing connections between ecological loss and the erasure of migrant and undocumented communities. Developed through long-term field research, performance experimentation, and transregional inquiry, the project integrates body, sound, moving image, archival materials, and light to construct a sensory space between visibility and disappearance, reimagining possibilities of existence, memory, and coexistence.
