So, What Are You Trying to Say?「所以你想要說什麼?」,邀請當代舞者與單口喜劇演出者,以語言跟身體穿透觀眾的視野。

2026 PLAY ARTS FESTIVAL-Masks Convention
Centered on the ideas of play and gathering, the Play Arts Festival creates an open and welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can encounter art as part of everyday life.
Now entering its ninth edition in 2026, the Play Arts Festival continues its role as a place of gathering while welcoming new curators from Ming Baï Lab – Lee Ming-Chieh and Baï LEE – alongside choreographer Liu I-Ling. Entitled Masks Convention, this year’s festival explores the masks worn and perceived by different communities, as well as the challenges faced in contemporary society, through playful encounters and humorous rituals.
The programme features musical experiments, deaf basketball games, ambulatory performances, and plant-gathering walks, reflecting the festival’s commitment to interdisciplinarity and social inclusion. Much like the open nature of C-LAB itself, the festival embraces artistic forms that remain fluid, exploratory, and difficult to define.
As part of the festival, Liu I-Ling will also curate the sub-theme So, What Are You Trying to Say?, bringing contemporary dancers and stand-up comedians onto the same stage in an unexpected dialogue. With diverse artistic practices intersecting to weave art into everyday life, the Play Arts Festival offers an occasion to connect, encounter one another, and share emotions that blur social and cultural boundaries.
